PURE MUSEUM OF PURPOSE

A unique ART museum with an easy to manage design

Key Features

Didactic storytelling with the purpose of teaching collections care

Customized content management system that makes updates simple

Simplified exhibit design that shows artwork in an unusual context

The Need

PURE Insurance offers insurance coverage for individuals with fine art and high value collections. They requested a museum that showcases damaged artwork from their collection - some of which was once worth millions of dollars but is now worth nothing. This unique corporate museum required an easy to maintain design and a simplified content management system.

The Approach

Tessellate’s design for this corporate museum tells the collection owner’s narrative and explains how each piece was destroyed. Through the storytelling, each section is unique and teaches consumers a different lesson in how to prevent similar accidents from recurring.  The result is a museum that reassures confidence, and conveys PURE’s commitment to their members, while teaching best practices for the proper care, conservation, and maintenance of artwork.

“The Tessellate team was great to work with. The design team was collaborative, creative, and thoughtful. They helped us organize the narratives and the content for the museum. We would not have been able to bring this vision to life without them.”
